When are you open?

Fermanagh Open Farm opened on Saturday 6th July 2019.  It is only open for pre-booked sessions, not to the general public.  This means to come to the farm you must pre-book.  

During the summer the farm is open 7 days a week for pre-booked sessions and in the autumn at the weekends.  We will be closed in the winter to add new animal enclosures and play area. 

Our groups sessions are 11am, 1pm, 3pm and in busy periods we have one at 5pm.

What Activities can I do during my pre-booked session?

Pre-booked sessions are small groups who move around the farm as a group, learning about the care and welfare of farm animals.  It will include:

* Cuddling and petting small animals such as rabbits and hamsters,
* Collecting eggs from the hens,
* Feeding animals such as cows, sheep and goats,
* Grooming Shetland ponies.

Do you do group bookings?

Yes we can do large private group bookings for at least 15 people or more.  Contact our sales team to find out more information.

We can also have birthday parties onsite too and are offering educational experience visits for schools and nurseries too.

If you're not able to come to the farm, some of our animals can come and visit you at your school, care home, community centre and home.

What Attractions are there on the farm?

The farm currently has a varierty of farm animals, play area, picnic area and tuck shop.  You're welcome to bring a picnic or purchase crisps, chocolate, hot and cold drinks from our tuck shop.  We also offer a hands on, active, farming experience with our animals.  

Where is the Farm?

The Farm is allocated on the outskirts of Lisbellaw villiage.  Our adderss is 4 Slate Quarry Lane, Lisbellaw, BT94 5BB.  Visit our contact us page for a map to find the farm. 

Are Dogs Allowed?

No dogs are allowed on the farm, to protect our animals and to prevent any fear put unto our animals.  Guide dogs are welcome.
